Featured sites

It is hard to define what makes us want to feature any particular poker site. It can be the content, if we think it is valuable or more worthwhile than most sites. It can also be the design, should it appeal to our particular tastes.

Of course, not everyone will agree with our particular choices. That can't be helped. We do our best to only list and feature sites that are worthwhile and this must be our opinion.

Some new poker sites that have caught our eye lately include the poker portal at Play Better Poker. While the content is not overly complete at this time we feel that the general direction the site is taking is a very worthwhile one, and that this site should prove to be a valuable resource for a certain part of the online poker market when it has filled out some more. And we really like the look of the site.

Some more sites that we have noticed, briefly, and again the same criteria applies with these; that the direction and the effort put into the design indicates that these could turn out to be very useful sites.

Things may not work out that way (we have been wrong before) but for now we would reccommend this site which is about how to Make money from playing poker, this site about how to play real poker online, and the site called Time to play poker which has a design that is not common for a poker blog, and we like to see unusual looking sites. Where it goes from there remains to be seen.

Some of these featured sites were submitted to the poker directory and that is how we came across them. But some of them were not submitted to this directory at all, at least, not so far, but we found them in our travels around the internet.

Those that weren't submitted to us have not been added by us to the main directory, other than being featured here.

Non Gambling related site submissions

There has been a large increase in the number of submissions of non gambling and non poker related sites to this directory.

It should be obvious that this is a specific poker and gambling directory and so any site that is not related to this area will never, ever be listed here.

I realise that a lot of those submissions are automated and so this notice will not be read by them, but for the few that are doing this manually you are wasting both your time and mine.

Please, we only accept gambling and poker related sites to this directory.

Poker and Gambling sites

Generally, we accept sites that are in any area of online gambling, most specifically online poker, but any related gambling niche site is welcome here.

Having said that, we do not approve every site that is submitted. In fact, we can be very picky when it comes to approving sites for listing here.

We don't want to bore you with a list of rules and regulations, though, so if you are refused you may be confused as to why.

Generally, anything that breaks good webmaster guidelines will cause you to be excluded from our lists.

If you do not know what would constitute 'good webmaster guidelines' then that is probably why you were refused in the first place.

The best advice I could give you would be to do a google search for webmaster guidelines and go from there.
